The Telus Garden is a benchmark for Vancouver’s diversified ecological community, by featuring an array of forestry in an articulate way. The building was awarded the Leed® Platinum for one of the most resource-efficient buildings developed. Icon Pacific was awarded the construction management for this project, with The Quorum Group being the structural contractors for the project.
The office tower is the first building in Canada to target and receive the 2009 LEED® Platinum standard with features that include an innovative site wide utility, rainwater harvesting and solar panel systems. Public spaces, amenities and art are also major components of the development. The office tower features 14,000 sq-ft of green roofs growing organic produce for nearby restaurants, meeting rooms, and local art.
